Nonlinear Contraction-Based Coupled Fixed Point Theorems in Partial b-Metric Spaces with Applications

Abstract: In (Mediterr. J. Math. 11, 703–711, 2014), Shukla introduced the concept of partial b-metric spaces as a generalization of partial metric and b-metric spaces. The purpose of this article is to establish some coupled fixed point results for contractive mappings in a partial b-metric space. Examples are provided to support the results and concepts presented herein. As an application of our results, we prove the well-posedness of coupled fixed point problems.
